Photography is an exciting and accessible medium, especially for children looking for creative ways to express themselves. Children will have the chance to take their very own black and white photos with a manual camera before learning the darkroom processes of developing and image printing. This course is based not only on the technical side, but works towards exploiting the medium. Guidance will be towards producing large-scale mixed media enlargements and photo transfer work in the hope our budding image-makers will feel encouraged to find new ways of seeing and responding.
